You will be able to demonstrate at least two years plus experience in a sales environment within the IT market place. You will be a Business-led professional client facing experience, focused on developing opportunities rather than selling products. You will have recent experience in a medium to large IT VAR / Reseller or IT Solutions Company / channel sales / System Integration. You will have tenacious business-led cold calling expertise. Understand how to build and nurture relationships over the mid to long term. Understand the benefits of CRM and how to use it to best advantage. You will have experience of the IT infrastructure marketplace and why and how SME and mid-market businesses purchase from VARS. You will be able to identify opportunities within new prospects and existing clients and network across organisations in order to strengthen the client's position and messaging.
