J5252 - Junior Software Tester / Software Support

A great opportunity for an individual to join a small, friendly team within a growing software company. Our client needs someone who is a junior to mid-level to help with all aspects of our software development life cycle with a specific focus on Quality Assurance and Testing. The role also involves elements of product documentation and customer support. This may suit a recent graduate or someone with around 12 months relevant commercial experience.


The scope of the role includes (but is not restricted to):

  • developing, documenting and running automated and manual software test cases
  • creating customer and system documentation for our products
  • dealing with customer support enquiries and ensuring a prompt and accurate resolution
  • creating customer focused reports
  • This role would suit someone who has a keen interest in all aspects of the software development life cycle and customer interaction. It is a fantastic opportunity to get involved in programming and application testing. 

    Desirable Skills/Aptitude

  • Understanding of software testing development and support
  • Evidence of having prepared customer and other support/process documentation
  • Experience and understanding of Microsoft technologies such as ASP.NET (C#), MS SQLServer and IIS
  • Experience and understanding of SQL, JavaScript, CSS 
  • Experience and understanding of mobile technology such as apps, cloud-based software services, web development
