Business Systems Analyst

Our client is a leading Software House based in Bedford. This is a new role with excellent scope for enhancing the analysis and specification of the client's web-based applications.

 

The role will have the following responsibilities:

 

Work with project sponsor and internal/external stakeholders to identify, clarify, and effectively document business processes and system requirements

 

Write and maintain system specification documents for the software development team including data models, wireframes, user stories, process flows

 

Work with the software development team to produce technical designs consistent with system specification documents

 

Organise and lead reviews of requirements/design documents

 

Contribute to project planning and system test planning

 

Participate in system testing and review.

 

 

Skills & Experience Required:

 

Experience of working within a software development environment producing interactive web applications

 

Proficient with at least one domain-modelling language

 

Exposure to the Microsoft stack of web technologies, including ASP.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, C#, SQL Server

 

Background in programming and/or system architecture

 

Experience working with external/third-party vendors

 

Familiarity with an Agile / SCRUM approach
