Details With outstanding natural ability to supervise a small-dedicated team of Design Engineers in a fast moving environment. You will have a strong background in the design of heavy mechanical handling and process plant equipment from screw conveyors through to pressure vessels with extensive experience of heavy fabrication and welding, design calculations, control and Instrumentation, P&ID & Process Flow schemes.This role is hands-on design using AutoCAD, scheduling short quick responsive turn around jobs and planning and controlling longer-term projects. It is essential to respond to changing priorities and to motivate the team to respond to the challenges.To be considered you should have at least an HNC in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with a Degree/Chartered Engineering status. A team leader or supervisor with aspirations to become a Manager. An Engineer not just a draughtsman. Strong / assertive character.
