Our client needs 2 web developers that can hit the ground running with solid PHP, XHTML, CSS and JavaScript skills and the ability to learn new concepts and technologies in their sleep. Our client likes using XML, XML-RPC, AJAX and web 2.0 APIs. Of course, you're the type of developer that is passionate about the interweb and you care about creating the best user experience possible. You're not fazed by a fast-paced agency environment, can communicate clearly and are comfortable leading other developers.

Skills the role requires:

* Demonstrable experience in PHP development (minimum 2 years commercial experience), including object-oriented coding * Experience of using XML, XSLT, XML-RPC and SOAP, and Web Services * Excellent understanding and application of current HTML / CSS / XHTML standards * MySQL Administration skills, including replication, table optimisation, installation and maintenance * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to write supporting documentation or present ideas as required

Desirable technical skills:

* UNIX / Linux Admin Experience * Experience of coding standards such as Python, AJAX and Lasso * Application Design and Structure * Experience of unit testing

 

Salary range: £25-40k pa
