Controls Engineer

Our client seeks a Controls Engineer. The client is able to consider either an experienced person or a new graduate with a good head who is eager to learn:


1 ) Experienced engineer with skills in PLC programming, drives & controls etc Salary £35-45K + pension.




2 ) New graduate ("Trainee") with minimum 2:1 degree in controls engineering or electrical engineering. Salary around £25K + pension.


Our client is at the forefront of innovation and quality within its industry and therefore are only interested in intelligent capable people and not as a rule interested in maintenance people who have drifted into engineering. Machinery experience is important. Whilst the client is not a large company the variety of what it does and the levels of technology mean that there are very few jobs that can provide such a variety of experience and job satisfaction.


The client mostly uses Siemens PLCs and Parker SSD drives.
