Software Developer
Our client is an award winning Systems and Software House that develops asset management systems to prestigious and Blue Chip Customers.
You will join the R&D Software Dept. to assist with the development of our existing software which is written in VB.NET and ASP.NET .
You will participate in the development and implementation of new applications and web based software.  This part of the role will be especially interesting as you will be able to see the development of the software evolve and your input will significantly influence the way in which our software develops in the future. 
Essential skills:
• Experience in VB.NET and ASP.NET. Individuals with relevant C# experience will also be considered for this position. 
• Experience in developing web and desktop applications ideally using MVC, Entity Framework and LINQ.
• Experience in developing and interfacing to application programming interfaces (APIs).
• Experience with all Windows based operating Systems.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server including stored procedures.
• Excellent documentation skills (including code commenting)
Desirable Skills:
• Experience in C#.
• Knowledge of DevExpresss APIs.
• Experience in Windows embedded application development using the .NET compact framework.
• MySQL and Databases.
• Experience in developing and supporting VB6 applications.
