Embedded Software Engineer

Our client requires an Embedded Software Engineer to develop existing embedded software as well as design new embedded software for a variety of 8/16/32-bit microcontrollers.

The client designs, install and supports a range of electronic asset management solutions to blue chip organisations across the world. The client's products have won the Queen’s award for Innovation twice in recent years.

You will participate in existing software solutions written in C and Assembly in order to provide on-going support, design and definition of embedded software and firmware for the electronics platforms.

Education/Qualifications:

An Engineering degree (or equivalent)

Experience:

Extensive working knowledge of Embedded C and Assembly Language

Experience with learning and documenting existing architectures

Experience in developing commercial end user embedded applications

Minimum of 2 years work experience of embedded products and Embedded C/Assembler

Proven track record of designing and delivering Embedded Firmware solutions in line with budgetary and time restraints
