The Individual

This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious Financial Services Company with Worldwide offices.

The Business Systems Development team seeks a professional with high integrity and loyalty, a critical approach to his/her work, experienced in a varied, fast-moving project environment, have a desire to build flawless systems, and with background in the development and design of large, complex software systems in the financial sector.


The following skills are also a prerequisite for the job:

·A first-class degreein computing or numerate fields

·Minimum 3 years commercial experience developing server-based Java applications (core / Java server pages) which exhibit scalability and high availability

·Excellent knowledge in developing T-SQL queries (views, functions, stored procedures)

·Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills

·Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

·Excellent communications & interpersonal skills

·Flexibility to travel abroad when required



The following skills are preferred, but not essential:

·A postgraduate degree in computing or numerate fields

·Experienced in developing MatLab financial routines and libraries

·Background in Financial markets

·Previous experience in portfolio accounting and investment services platforms
